The cellar of the Castle of Torre in Pietra location for the shots of the famous photographer Steve McCurry.
We had the pleasure to welcome him and his too many for a day of shooting in our rooms, outdoors and caves: who knows, in a few months you might see glimpses of our cellar on television or in some magazine!
All the young people were fascinated by the caves that since the Middle Ages are still used for the production and storage of wine and Steve, in particular, was intrigued by all the steps of the production chain that take place entirely between our fields and our cellar: from the careful work in the fields, the choice of an organic production, through the steps of winemaking, up to bottling and labeling.
He promised to come back soon for a tasting and another lunch at the Osteria dell’Elefante and we are waiting for him with open arms!
